Jess Watson

Hi, I'm Jess.

I am a Leeds-based creative professional with both agency and freelance experience across events marketing, branding, print design, media production, photography, and videography. My notable projects include managing the branding, print, digital media and regional billboard/poster tower campaigns for Leeds Arts University’s 2024 End of Year Shows, while simultaneously overseeing the planning, merchandising and sale of over 130 student’s pieces of work during the annual Art Market, raising a record of over £10k in sales for our students.

In 2021, I was shortlisted for the prestigious Cannes Future Lions student advertising award. In 2022, I was featured as an expert in marketing strategies for retail and beauty by IMRG, alongside featuring in discussions about neurodiversity in marketing by Provoke Media. In 2024, I was also awarded a scholarship to study part-time MA Creative Practice at Leeds Arts University, starting in September. I am passionate about collaborating with other creatives and currently seeking freelance projects or part-time work alongside my studies.
