I’m an expert in protecting and building corporate profile and reputation, having done so for a host of well-known brands including ASDA, Quorn, The Works and the University of Hull. As a corporate communications specialist, I’m particularly skilled when it comes to media relations, developing and implementing news and media strategies that deliver real commercial impact, protecting and enhancing brand reputations and building relationships with the stakeholders that really matter. My other areas of expertise include:
· Defining objective-led communication strategies, brand positioning and messaging
· Copywriting, including news releases, features, op-eds, reports, speeches and website copy
· Developing and implementing news generation programmes to deliver outstanding media coverage on a national and regional level
· Media training to coach employees on effective message delivery and how to skilfully and confidently handle even the toughest of media interviews (includes mock TV interviews)
· Crisis preparedness and issues support, including developing communication plans for the most likely risks, running simulation exercises and crisis communications workshops and providing strategic counsel and tactical support for live issues
